Our Family’s Top 5 Favorite Children’s Books

Books can be a really great gift for youngsters. They are relatively inexpensive and parents appreciate the gesture as well. They can also be passed down to younger siblings or donated to a local library, church, or school when children outgrow them. I have compiled a list of our top 5 favorite children’s books for children 4 and younger.

Peek-A Who?

This was my daughter’s favorite book for a year!! The approximate age on this one is birth-3 years. It is an inexpensive book that makes for a great gift! All parents appreciate books as gifts.

 

Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons

I LOVE this book! The appropriate age for this book is 4-8 years. Kids will love that they can join in on the repetitive nature and it has an adorable ending that even moms and dads can chuckle about.

 

Moo Baa La La La
By: Sandra Boynton

Our first son adored this silly Sandra Boynton classic. The illustrations, along with the story line, are bright and cheery. He knew the words and would read along at an early age.

Another Sandra Boynton classic, this book makes routine bed time a happy time that your kids will look forward to.
